Standard Scope of Work
- Surface inspection and repair — nail pops, cracks, drywall voids
- Full plaster and drywall patching where required
- Sanding and skim coat where surface demands it
- Oil-based or shellac spot-prime on stains and bare wood
- Full-coverage latex prime coat on all repainted surfaces
- Minimum two finish coats — hand-cut, rolled, or sprayed by application
- Complete masking and floor protection — nothing gets painted that shouldn't
- Daily cleanup, final walkthrough, touch-up before sign-off
The CNY Reality Check
Syracuse area homes see humidity swings that crack paint, old-growth plaster that doesn't take cheap primer, and basements that migrate moisture into first-floor walls. A coat that holds in Phoenix won't necessarily hold here.
